Ms. Cheryl Monique Greene of South Prince George formerly of Clover died Friday, July 26, 2024, at the age of 53.
Ms. Greene was born in New York on Dec. 25, 1970, to the late Melvin David Greene and Jacqueline Marion Coleman Greene. She was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church.
Ms. Greene is survived by one son, Jalen C. Jackson of the home; one sister, Sabrina L. Greene of Clover; one brother, Andre M. Greene of Petersburg; one niece, Briana K. Dixon of Virginia Beach; her fiancé, Lloyd Green of Dinwiddie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cheryl Greene attended Hampton University. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. Greene devoted 29 years to WoodLawn Learning Center under the Head Start Program, and she dedicated her whole career to the families in this community. She collaborated with Hopewell Social Services to provide support for Head Start Families. She dilligently worked with the Housing Authority, VA Employment Commission, and Healthy Families.
